i love my character.
everything about them. my character is my special own creation that i spent a substantial amount time developing as perfect as perfect can be. they’re my muse. so, when i see these bullshit ass police posts circulating, i immediately want to gouge out someone’s eyes. you know those posts. the ones that give you these in depth analysis on why you should do this and not that with YOUR FUCKING MUSE.
my muse is not created to be this universal, politically correct fluff master to fit your criteria. they are MINE and MINE ALONE and i can describe them, play them, & develop them they way I FUCKING WANT TO & i’d be damned if i ever let some fuckwad make me feel guilty, because how i portray my muse doesn’t jell well with them.
roleplaying is free range
there are no set rules. quit trying to enforce them. quit trying police people one what they wish to do with there own characters. if you don’t like how they’re portrayed, don’t follow them. move along. find another person to interact with. it’s really that fucking easy. not everyone is going to match up with your standards, just like you won’t match up to everyone else’s. that’s just the way it fucking works.
when you’re telling people how to rp or how to write their own creation, you’re not being an advocate for social justice or whatever-the-fuck-whoopdie-do,
you’re being a controlling dick.
